THE STORY
The brief was to design a Show Package Design for a television/OTT show including the Title Sequence Design. Our team (Tayyab and Yiqi) decided to choose Coke Studio Pakistan which is a Pakistani television program having over 15 million subscribers on YouTube. It is an international music franchise that features studio-recorded music performances by established and emerging artists. It is the longest-running annual television music show in Pakistan, running annually since 2008.
The reason to choose Coke Studio was that it is a brand within a Brand (Cocacola). We took the challenge of representing Coke Studio by reflecting traditional Pakistani music through a contemporary lens adding elements of Pakistani Cultural Identity as well as reflecting the parent brand Coca-Cola.
The idea was to celebrate the classical Pakistani musical instruments as Coke Studio is starting its fifteenth season this year. We added secondary colors such as gold, crimson brown, and blue to the original primary red color of the brand to show celebration and lighting in the title.

Style Frames
In the last scene, we made a signature Coke bottle in the negative space formed by different musical instruments coming together to form Coke Studio from the original Coca-Cola brand. The results reflected our original intention of representing three elements (music, Pakistani Culture, and Coca-Cola) and were enjoyed by our Professor Dominique Elliot and the class.
